Family Financial Resilience Partnership (FFRP)
Free Advice and Support for Brent Families
The Family Financial Resilience Partnership (FFRP) helps families in Brent improve their financial wellbeing by providing free, confidential advice and support on a wide range of issues affecting family finances and stability.
Delivered in partnership by Brent Council’s Best Start Family Hubs, Citizens Advice Brent, Harrow Law Centre and specialist London-wide advice partners, the service is designed to help families maximise income, tackle financial difficulties and access expert support when needed.
Who Can Use the Service?
The service is available to:
- Parents, carers and guardians of children aged 19 and under
- Young people up to age 25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

- Welfare Benefits and Universal Credit
- Maximising Household Income
- Debt and Money Advice
- Cost of Living Support
- Housing Issues
- Disability Benefits, including Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- SEND-related Issues
- Employment Matters
- Immigration Issues
- Other Social Welfare Problems affecting families and young people

Appointments can be arranged through Best Start Family Hubs staff. Families may also be referred by professionals working with them.

Where a family requires more specialist support, Citizens Advice Brent can make referrals through the wider Family Financial Resilience Partnership network.
